A two-desk allied health and nursing recruitment practice. US passive-market sourcing on one side, ethical international pathways on the other.
World AHS runs permanent direct-hire searches for allied health professionals, registered nurses, LPNs, medical techs, therapists (PT/OT/SLP), healthcare administrators, travel nursing, per-diem coverage, international clinicians and care coordinators across the United States.
The desk is built on a two-track operating model. Track one - the domestic desk - sources US-credentialed clinicians from the passive market. Time-to-shortlist runs in weeks. Track two - the international desk - runs ethical international recruitment pathways for credentialed clinicians from approved source countries. Time-to-arrival runs in months.
Whether the search is a 21-day domestic close or a 9-month international pathway, you have one named consultant from brief through to day 90 of placement. There is no hand-off between an "international team" and a "US team" inside our agency. Both desks sit alongside each other.
The international desk follows the WHO Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel. We do not source from countries on the WHO Health Workforce Support and Safeguards List, and we follow the Alliance for Ethical International Recruitment Practices (AAIHR) principles in every placement.
License lookup against the relevant US state board, primary-source verification, BLS/ACLS/PALS where applicable, sanction-list cross-check. International clinicians additionally clear CGFNS or NCLEX-RN credentialing, English-proficiency assessment and visa eligibility before placement.
Recruit from countries on the WHO safeguards list. Bond an internationally placed clinician for terms longer than the AAIHR principles allow. Stretch a credentialing window to fit a tight start date. Pull a candidate from a competing client without explicit, written consent. Treat day-one as the close of the engagement.
Hospital HR leads, allied-health group operations directors, post-acute care administrators, ACO and MCO talent leads, and health-system international recruitment programmes. Facilities that need both speed-to-fill on the domestic side and a sustainable international pipeline on the longer side.
Every direct-hire placement carries a 90-day replacement guarantee. If a placement does not work out, we re-run the search at no additional fee. International placements carry an additional retention support window. The terms are written into the engagement letter, not buried in fine print.
